CHIMPANZEE
Read MoreMothers are very protective of their young. Even when the babies want to play, the mothers have a close contact with them throughout. Here the mother is holding back her baby at the chimpanzee sanctuary at Ol Pejeta conservancy. You can see the baby's curiosity pulling him to venture far from the mother. The gentility, strength and love are shown by the mother's hand in contrast to the baby's sponge (wants to take in the world) eyes.
Sitting snugly in mother's lap, this 4 month old chimpanzee baby opens his eyes wide open, totally fearless. He knows with mother by his side, he is fully protected in Ol Pejeta chipanzee sanctuary, Laikipia.
