In the dry spells, animals walk very long distances to find water. This lone male has been walking for a long time, leaving his territory to find water. As he approached the water, the zebras cleared out within seconds. He didn't provoke them, he was just walking, yet all the animals cleared out of his way, even the Great White Egret. It was some sort of understanding or fear they have to this southern white rhino. The low angle shot made him look like a king.
