The crossing of zebras had started in Mara River, Masai Mara, Kenya. Unknown to the zebras a hungry lioness was hiding behind a bush with her two small cubs on the opposite side of the river. As soon as a zebra mother with her young baby crossed to the other side, the lioness came ot in full force.She had her eyes on the zebra youngster, her selected target. The zebra female sped off quickly expecting the baby to follow her. But the lioness was quick and and caught her focussed target with ease. I felt sorry for the zebra baby but now the two lion cubs would not go hungry. This was Nature.
